In the number three position junior Ann Bellinger (Arlington, VA) fell to her Bowdoin opponent.  Rookie Anna Bezahler (Philadelphia, PA) scored 26 points across her three games in a loss in the number four position.  Forcing four games in the number five spot, first-year Lynn Cheng (Singapore) eventually fell to Chloe Polikoff, 9-11, 11-8, 11-3, 11-6.

Senior Caroline Howe (Carlisle, MA) had a difficult time in the number six position, falling to her Polar Bear counterpart in three games.  Freshman Rowan Rice (Rye, NY) lost in the number seven position, but did put 22 points on the board in her three games.  Junior Charlotte Griffiths (Ardmore, PA) and sophomore Sophie Laing (Red Hook, NY) played in the eight and nine spots, respectively.  Neither were able to beat their Bowdoin opponents.

Consolation bracket play will begin at 9:30 am on Saturday morning and will take place at neighboring Colgate University.  Following the completion of the NESCAC Championships the women will be back on the courts on February 6 when they travel to take on Northeastern at 8:00 pm.
