Ann Bellinger won against Colby to give the Jumbos one of their four wins |

WATERVILLE, Maine --- Devin Mullaney won at the first position for Colby College and the Mules had wins in the final four spots to pull out a 5-4 victory over Tufts University on Saturday at the Dunaway Courts.
The Colby women are 3-1 overall and ranked 22nd nationally. Tufts, ranked 28th in the county, drops to 2-8 overall.
Mullaney won 3-0 in her first position match. The Mules also received 3-0 victories from Caroline Pelham, Kathryn Chow, and Annabel Darling. Colby received a break in winning the ninth position by default after Tufts did not have a player to compete.
Paige Dahlman won 3-1 at the second spot and Ann Bellinger won a tight 3-2 match at the third position for the Jumbos. Lauren Banner won 3-0 at four and teammate Anna Bezahler won by the same score at five.
The match with Colby completed the first semester portion of the schedule for the Jumbos, as they will be back in action on January 13th when they take on Bates.
