They will enter the NESCAC Tournament as the No. 2 seed and will face the No. 7 seed Bates College Bobcats.

The Jumbos will be looking to shake off a hard fought 3-2 double overtime loss to Bowdoin College at home on Tuesday. The Jumbos rallied from being down 2-1 in the third quarter on a goal by
Reegan McCluskey to tie the game but were unable to score the winner. The loss was the Jumbos fifth of the season as they now have a 10-5 record overall and a 7-3 NESCAC record.
Bates comes in as the No. 20 ranked team in the country with a 9-6 record overall and a 5-5 NESCAC record. The Bobcats are coming off a 6-2 victory at Colby, where Kami Lambert recorded a hat trick. They have won three of their last four games, with victories at Connecticut College (3-0) and at Wesleyan College (3-2). The loss was against Tufts at home (2-1).
The series between these two teams' dates to 1970's, but Tufts has controlled the recent matchups with a 23-4 record since 1999. The Jumbos have won the last four matchups against Bates including the 2-1 victory this season at Bates on October 15th. The Jumbos have faced the Bobcats twice previously in NESCAC quarterfinal games, with the Jumbos winning in 2010 (4-1) and 2016 (2-0). Tufts has not lost at home to Bates since 2002.

The Bobcats are led by junior Kami Lambert, who has 12 goals on the season and 27 points. In her last four games she has 16 points with seven goals and two assists. Also for Bates, Paige Cote is fifth in the country in assists per game with 0.79, including two in their last game against Colby. Bates as a team is second in the NESCAC with 135 corners and are averaging nine corners a game. In goal for Bates is senior Grace Biddle, who has a 4-4 record on the season. She has 36 saves on the season for a .679 save percentage.
