BRANFORD, CT (October 27, 2024) - The Tufts Coed Sailing Team finished in 11th place out of 18 teams at the Erwin Schell Trophy emblematic of the Fall New England Championship at Yale University over the weekend.
In 13 races overall (five on Sunday), Tufts had scores of 98 in A division and 141 in B division for a 239 total. Roger Williams University won the Fall New England Championship with a 34-60-94 scoring line.

Rees Tindall were sixth in their division for the weekend. They had the same score as Coast Guard, but won the head-to-head tie-breaker over the Bears to take sixth in A's. The pair had a second-place score in Sunday's second race and were also fourth in the second-to-last race on Sunday.
For B division, the Jumbos used sophomore skipper
Wyatt Bischoff for Sunday's first two races and then freshman
Oliver Keeves skippered the final three of the day. Senior
Cindy Wang crewed with Bischoff and sophomore
Reddin Kehrli crewed with Keeves. The Reeves-Kehrli pair were fifth in the second-to-last B division race.
This was the last date on the fall schedule for Tufts. The 2024-25 season will resume in the spring.
