CRANSTON, RI (September 21, 2024) - The Tufts Coed Sailing team is in 10th place out of 18 teams after one day of racing at Brown University's Sherman Hoyt Trophy on Saturday. Eight races were held in A and B divisions.
Tufts compiled finishes totaling to 58 in A's and 73 in B's for a 131 total. Host Brown leads the regatta with a 24-27-51 scoring line.Â

Rees Tindall (six races today) and
Nicolas Echarte (two races) are ninth in A's. They took second place in their second race and also had a third later in the day.
Sophomore
Wyatt Bischoff is skippering in B for Tufts with senior crews
Cindy Wang and
Leo Terry. They are 10th in B's so far, with a strong trio of finishes - fourth, fifth and second - in the middle of their day today.
Sunday's second day of racing is scheduled to begin at 10 AM.
