Ben Mueller and senior crew
Rees Tindall placed fourth in A division to lead the Tufts Coed Sailing Team at the Sherman Hoyt Trophy hosted by Brown University over the weekend. Tufts finished in ninth place as a team.
The regatta was completed with six races in A and B divisions on Sunday for a weekend total of 14. Tufts compiled finishes totaling to 90 in A's and 130 in B's for a 220 total. Roger Williams University won the event with a 128 team score (77 in A's and 51 in B's).
Mueller and Tindall were outstanding on Sunday, totaling 32 in their six races. They won Sunday's third race and had seconds in three others. Senior
Nicolas Echarte had taken over as crew for the third and fourth races on Saturday and earns a piece of this fine performance. Mueller and Tindall have also been fourth in A division at Yale University's Harry Anderson Trophy earlier this fall, and sixth at the Hatch Brown event hosted by MIT last week.
Sophomore
Wyatt Bischoff skippered in B for Tufts with senior crews
Cindy Wang and
Leo Terry splitting duty at the Hoyt. They were 10th in B's, with a best Sunday finish of sixth.
