Coed Sailing Sixth So Far at Yale's Harry Anderson Trophy

BRANFORD, CT (September 7, 2024) - The Tufts University coed sailing team sits sixth out of 18 teams thus far at the Harry Anderson Jr. regatta hosted by Yale.

Eight races in A and B divisions were finished on Saturday. The Jumbos scored 50 in A's and 66 in B's for a 116 total. They tied with Boston College, but won a head-to-head tie-breaker with the Eagles to take sixth place after one day.

Tufts is fifth in A division with the veteran pair of junior skipper Ben Mueller and senior crew Rees Tindall. They were second in two of today's eight races and also had a third place.

For B division, the Jumbos started junior skipper Clark Morris and sophomore crew Cody Lamoreux. They are in eighth place, with top finishes of fourth in the second race and a pair of sixth-place efforts.

Brown University is leading after one day with 44-25-69 scores.

Day 2 of the regatta on Sunday will start at 10 am.
