Jumbos 13th at Nevins Trophy Following Saturday's Action

KINGS POINT, NY ( October 11, 2025) – Tufts University Coed Sailing is 13th out of 17 teams following Saturday's competition at the Nevins Trophy hosted by the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy.

Six races were held in both A and B divisions on Saturday. Tufts compiled finishes totaling to 69 in A and 54 in B for a 123 total.

Tufts' B division duo of junior skipper Gus Macaulay with sophomore crew Dory Russell is ninth in B's so far. They had a second-place finish in today's fifth race as well as two seventh-place scores.

For A division, Tufts had junior Wyatt Bischoff skippering with senior Greta Klein as crew. They had a best race of sixth in their fourth start today.

Navy leads the regatta after Saturday's action with a 55 score (15 A's, 40 B's).

First warning for Sunday's action is at 10:00 AM.
