ENFIELD, NH (October 12, 2025) – The Tufts University coed sailing team had one of its strongest performances of the fall season on Sunday when they placed third out of 14 teams at the Captain Hurst Bowl hosted by Dartmouth College.
With no wind at the site on Saturday, no races were held. However, good conditions on Sunday allowed for seven races to be finished in A and B divisions. Tufts accumulated scores of 30 in A's and 38 in B's for a team score of 68.

Kate Castleberry earned third place in A division. They won Sunday's final A race and also had a second and three thirds during the day.
The Jumbo B team also had a strong fifth-place finish in their division. Sophomore
Oliver Keeves skippered the first through fourth races, then freshman
Pearse Dowd came on to skipper the fifth through seventh starts. Junior
Sean Beaver crewed all seven races. The Keeves-Beaver combo was third in today's second B race, while Dowd-Beaver scored 3-6-2 in their three starts.
Brown University won the regatta with a 26-23-49 scoring line. Stanford University (25-37-62) was in second, six points ahead of the Jumbos.
