CRANSTON, RI (March 1, 2025) - In its first event of the 2025 season, the Tufts University coed sailing team placed eighth at the Liam O'Keefe Team Race Trophy hosted by Brown University on Saturday.
With Tufts trying new combinations for its team racing squad, the Jumbos finished with an 0-7 record today in a round-robin. The opponents included host Brown, Dartmouth College, Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Roger Williams University, the University of Rhode Island and Yale University.
Harvard University won the regatta with a perfect 7-0 record.

Naomi Pedersen.
The event was originally scheduled for two days, but tomorrow's action has been canceled due to the harsh weather that's in the forecast.
