NEW LONDON, CT (March 16, 2025) – The Tufts University coed sailing team finished in sixth place out of 10 teams at the Southern New England Team Raced hosted by Connecticut College on the Thames River.
On Saturday at the event, Tufts had advanced to a six-team second round with their 6-3 record and second-place finish in the first round. On Sunday, Tufts went 1-4 in the top-six round to finish with a 7-7 weekend record for sixth place overall.
In Sunday's top-six second round, Tufts defeated the University of Rhode Island, but lost to Roger Williams University, Bowdoin College, Boston College and Tulane University.
Roger Williams won the regatta with a 10-4 mark for a .714 winning percentage.
