Andrew, Cumberland Combine for Strong Day at NEICAAA Championships

BOSTON, MA (March 7, 2025) - The Tufts University women's indoor track and field team sent senior Jordan Andrew and first year Elysse Cumberland to the Reggie Lewis Track and Field Center to compete in the 2025 NEICAAA Championships on Friday afternoon.

Both athletes competed in the long jump, taking part in a field of mostly Division I athletes.

Cumberland finished in eleventh with a mark of 5.28m, but placed fourth out of all competing Division III athletes.

Andrew jumped for 5.50m, landing her in fifth place. The top five finish was the third-longest jump of her career and was the highest finish of any competing Division III athlete.

Andrew and Cumberland will feature at the Gantcher Center tomorrow at the Tufts Qualifying Meet, beginning at 10:00 am in Medford. The Tufts University men's indoor track and field team will be competing as well.
