Jumbos Lead NESCAC With 247 Spring All-Academic Team Honorees

MEDFORD, MA (May 21, 2025) - The 2025 spring sports teams at Tufts University placed a remarkable 247 student-athletes on the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) All-Academic Team released today. That's the most out of the 11 schools in the conference by far, 47 ahead of Williams College (200).

Over 1,700 student-athletes were named to the 2025 NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team. To be honored, an individual must have reached sophomore academic standing, and be in good standing in their sport with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50 or equivalent on a 4.0 scale. Transfers must have completed one year of study at an institution. Lists of All-Academic honorees were provided by the athletic departments at each institution. The cumulative GPA on record from the previous semester was used to determine eligibility for the honor.

Representatives from Tufts' baseball, golf, men's lacrosse, women's lacrosse, men's rowing, women's rowing, sailing, softball, men's tennis, women's tennis, men's outdoor track & field and women's outdoor track & field teams are among the 247 Jumbo honorees.

The Jumbo recipients of the All-Academic Team award include one individual conference award winner from this spring - Men's Tennis Player of the Year Vuk Vuksanovic. Tufts' Holden Kittelberger (golf) was a recipient of all three of NESCAC's honors - All-Conference, All-Sportsmanship and All-Academic - this spring.
