MEDFORD, MA (June 16, 2026) -- The College Sports Communicators (CSC) released their annual CSC Creative & Digital Design Contest honors recently, and Tufts University Athletic Communications picked up 11 different honors thanks to the work of student videographer John Mulvihill.
Mulvihill saw his name listed within many times in the categories of "Hype/Pre-Game Videos", "Long Form Videos/Recaps/Features", and "Short Form Videos/Reels."
In the "Hype/Pre-Game Videos", Mulvihill and Director of Athletic Communications
Jamie Chagnon earned first place in the College Division for the 2025 Men's Lacrosse National Championship "hype video" that played at Gillette Stadium. It was listed as the Best of Division III and Best of Student Workers overall.
Mulvihill's pre-game video for the Tufts football Jumbotron was also listed as the No. 6 video submission of the year in the College Division in the category. The video was third in the Best of Division III category, while also ranking third in the Best of Student Worker division.
In the Long Form Video category, his recap of the Tufts volleyball NESCAC quarterfinal win ranked No. 10 in the College Division. It was graded as the No. 2 video in the Best of Division III category, and topped the Best of Student Worker ledger.
In the "Short Form Video" category, Mulvihill's Tufts Men's Soccer NCAA Elite 8 Game-Winning Goal reel was ranked No. 12 overall in the College Division. In the Best of Division III listing, the video was No. 6.
It is the second straight year that Tufts has had its office earn a design or creative award.
