CAMBRIDGE, MA (September 13, 2025) - The Tufts University coed sailing team scored 13th at the three-division Hatch Brown Trophy hosted by MIT on Saturday.
At the one-day regatta, just three races were held in each of the three divisions on Saturday. The Jumbos had scores of 24 in A's, 28 in B's and 39 in C's for a 91 total. They were 13th out of 18 teams overall.
Senior
Ben Mueller, an honorable mention All-American last year, made his first start of the season and skippered Tufts to eighth in A division. He was with sophomore crew
Kate Castleberry. They were fourth in the third and final race in A's.
For B's, Tufts had sophomore
Oliver Keeves skippering with junior crew
Reddin Kehrli. They were 10th in B's including a seventh-place finish in the second start.
Teaming up in C division was junior skipper
Courtland Doyle with junior crew
Sean Beaver. They took 14th in the division after an eighth-place score in the final C race.
Harvard University won the Hatch Brown regatta today with a 41 final score (7 A's, 17 B's, 17 C's).
