WAKEFIELD, RI (September 28, 2025) - Tufts Coed Sailing finished 10th at the Moody Trophy hosted by the University of Rhode Island which concluded on Sunday.
The Jumbos had been in 13th-place after Saturday's action, and jumped three spots with their performance today. In eight races overall for both A and B divisions during the weekend, the Jumbos compiled finishes totaling to 97 in A's and 48 in B's for a 145 final score.
Just two A races and four B starts were held on Sunday.
Junior skipper Devon Owen with junior crew
Sean Beaver raced in A's for Tufts with scores of ninth and fifth on Sunday. Tufts placed 13th in A's overall.
For B's, the Jumbos had junior skipper
Courtland Doyle with sophomore crew
Kate Castleberry as its duo on Sunday. They won the last of their four B starts on Sunday. Tufts was fourth for B's in all.
Roger Williams University won the Moody Trophy with a scoring line of 46-30-76.
