BRANFORD, CT (September 6, 2025) - The first date of the 2025-26 Tufts University coed sailing season on Saturday was met with tricky weather which limited racing to three starts in A and B divisions at the Harry Anderson Trophy hosted by Yale University.
In between a lack of wind early and thunderstorms later, the 18 teams were able to compete in conditions ranging from six to 12 knots. The Jumbos are 13th after today's racing.

Sean Beaver competed in A division for Tufts. In three races they were 11th twice and ninth. Their 31 score is 10th in A's thus far.
For B division, the Jumbos had junior skipper
Gus Macaulay and junior crew
Reddin Kehrli. The pair had finishes of 13th, 12th and eighth for a 33 score that was 11th in the division.
Tufts has a team score of 64 through Saturday. They are just three points out of the top 10. Brown University leads with a 24 score (15 A's, 9 B's).
First warning for Sunday's racing will be at 10:15 AM.
