HARTFORD, CT (January 24, 2026) – Senior forward

This marks the third straight victory for Tufts as they move to 5-5-0 in conference action on the season, while Trinity falls to 3-7-0 in the NESCAC.
The Jumbos opened the scoring 4:34 into the first period off a snipe from
Dennis Davidson.
Trace Norwell fought along the left-side boards for the puck,
Cole Dubicki saw it loose and pushed a pass to Davidson in the high-slot, and Davidson wristed a shot high-blocker side to beat the Trinity goaltender.
Bryceon Lago added to the Jumbos lead just 42 seconds later. Dubicki fed Norwell with a tape-to-tape breakout pass, Norwell tapped a quick feed to Lago on the zone entry who put simple shot on net that managed to squeak through Devon Bobak.
Trinity did not fold and found a way to tie the game at two before the end of the first. A Tufts neutral zone turnover led to Nolan Hayes sliding a cross-ice pass to Weston Turner, setting up Ian Spencer for a breakaway score. Alexis Billequey brought the game back to even off a rebound opportunity. Breaking into the offensive zone, Hayes dished a lead pass to Ryan Panico, Panico ripped a shot off the right pad of
Gus Bylin, and Billequey corralled the rebound and buried it.
The Jumbos took back a 3-2 lead 1:10 into the second frame with a tally from Norwell. Davidson dropped a pass to Dubicki, Dubicki put a backhand feed on the stick of Norwell who jammed it under the pad of Jack Fialkoff.
Just under two minutes into the third, Tufts regained a two-goal advantage with a power-play marker from
Ethan Ullrick. Dubicki captured his fourth assist of the contest from the left point as he fired a pass to a cutting Ullrick along the left post for the score.
The Bantams were able to respond with 9:45 remaining to bring the deficit back to one. To the left of Bylin, Cotton Blake put a shot off the pads of the Tufts goalie, from his knees Turner backhanded the puck across the slot to Connor Sedlak for the shorthanded goal.
The Jumbos tacked on two more in the final frame to lock up the victory. With 4:24 left to go, Tufts created a two-on-one chance,
Marcus Sang found Davidson in front with a cross-crease pass for his second goal of the contest. With just 30 seconds remaining, Ullrick fired a shot into the empty net of Trinity to make the final score 6-3.
Dubicki's four helpers marks the most assists in a game for a Jumbo since Tyler Scroggins on December 7, 2018 in a 6-1 win over Bowdoin.
Trinity led the shot department 45-30. The Jumbos capitalized on one power play opportunity as they finished 1 for 4. Trinity was 0 for 3 on the man advantage.
