HOPKINTON, NH (October 9, 2026) – Tufts University women's cross country first-years
Addison Julian and
Sylvia Perrin represented the Jumbos at the 2026 New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association (NEICAAA) Championships today at Hopkinton (NH) Fairgrounds.
This was the 51st running of the NEICAAA women's race, which has taken place every year since 1975 except for 2020 due to COVID. The event features New England Divisions I, II and III teams, though participation from Division III squads has waned in recent years. Tufts, Colby and Simmons were the only DIII teams who participated this season.
Out of 208 total runners today, Tufts' Julian was 54th with an 18:56.5 time across the five-kilometer course. Perrin crossed the finish line in 19:11.0 for 73rd place.
Boston College won the 2026 NEICAAA team championship with a 47 score, well ahead of second-place Providence (76) and third-place Bryant (78).
