MEDFORD, MA (February 27, 2026) - Tufts University will have swimmers in 17 of the 18 events as 13 Jumbos overall earned berths into the 2026 NCAA Division III Women's Swimming & Diving Championships in Indianapolis March 18-21.
National qualifying times for the 2025-26 season were earned by seniors
Isa Chambers,
Madeleine Dunn,
Madison Hagberg,
Katharine Skelly and
Quinci Wheeler, juniors
Elena Harrison and
Sydney Stasz, sophomores
Noa Chambers,
Angel Smyrniou and
Sweeney Su and first-years
Abby Davis,
Alec Lazorisak and
Cloe Nader.
Dunn and Wheeler are now four-time NCAA qualifiers for the Jumbos.
Isa Chambers, Hagberg, Harrison and Stasz qualified nationally for the third time. Earning the second NCAA berths of their careers are
Noa Chambers, Skelly and Smyrniou. Davis, Lazorisak, Nader and Su will have their first Nationals experience.
The highest Tufts seed in the NCAA meet goes to Dunn, who is #2 in the 1650 freestyle (16:47.11). She is also fourth for the 500 freestyle (4:52.21). The top Jumbo relay is #8 in the 200 medley race, where a 1:42.31 time was submitted by Harrison, Wheeler, Smyrniou and Skelly. Tufts will be busy with entries in every NCAA swimming event except the 200 breaststroke.
This weekend (Feb. 27-28), senior
Malia Leung and junior
Arya Gupta will look to join the Jumbos' national team by qualifying at the NCAA Diving Regional held at Connecticut College. Seven divers from the Regional will move on to Nationals.
