Jumbos Ninth at Harvard's Jan Friis Team Race

CAMBRIDGE, MA (March 22, 2025) - The Tufts University coed sailing team's second starters placed ninth at the Jan Friis Trophy hosted by Harvard which concluded on Sunday.

Sunday saw a second round robin completed at the regatta, and then a top four round. Tufts lost all eight of their second round races and did not advance to the final four.

The Jumbos had been 2-6 in Saturday's first round. In the two rounds combined they finished with a 2-14 record.

Host Harvard won the regatta with a 17-2 record.

The Jumbos will be at MIT's Marchiando Trophy next weekend.
