CAMBRIDGE, MA (March 8, 2026) – The Tufts University coed sailing team placed sixth out of seven teams at the Wood Trophy hosted by Harvard University which finished up on Sunday.
After two full round-robins were completed on Saturday, another round-robin was raced on Sunday amongst the seven teams. Tufts won two of their six races in that event. The top four teams then advanced to a fourth round, while the bottom three sailed a fifth round. Tufts was in the fifth round, where they split two races.
In the third round on Sunday, Tufts' wins came against Boston College and Northeastern. The Jumbos lost to Brown, Harvard, MIT and Yale. Then in the consolation round, the Tufts split was a win over Northeastern and a loss to MIT.

Wyatt Bischoff with first-year crew Ceci Priest.
Host Harvard won the regatta with a 20-1 overall record.
