NEW LONDON, CT (April 12, 2026) – The Thompson Trophy in team racing finished on Sunday with the Jumbo coed sailing team placing 16th.
A round robin amongst the 16 total teams at the regatta was finished on Sunday. No other racing was held.
Tufts lost its three contests on Sunday to Harvard, Roger Williams and Navy.
Stanford University won the regatta with a 14-1 final record.

On Tuesday night, Jumbo team racing will learn if it has earned an at-large berth into the Intercollegiate Sailing Association Team Race National Championship. The national championship will be held April 23-25 in New Orleans.
