MEDFORD, MA (May 14, 2026) -- The New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) announced the annual women's rowing All-NESCAC squads Thursday morning, and the Jumbo women's rowing squad earned five on the First and Second Teams.
The Jumbos, who are coming off a runner-up finish at the 2026 NESCAC Championships on Sunday after tying for the top spot with Bates College, picked up three honorees on the First Team.
Sydney Barr,
Sami Haynes and
Aubyn Mackey were named to the First Team, while coxswain
Maddie Rosato and
Erica Wayland earned Second Team honors.
Barr has been a mainstay in the 1V8+ boat this season for the Jumbos, as she was a All-NESCAC Second Team honoree a year ago. The First Team honors for Haynes and Mackey were their first conference honors as Jumbos.
Rosato has been charged with leading the 2V8+ boat all season, while Wayland has led one of the best second varsity boat in the country from her bow seat position. Both were honored for the first time by the NESCAC.
Bates head coach Peter Steenstra was voted NESCAC Women's Rowing Coach of the Year by his peers for the second consecutive season.
The Jumbos earned a bid into the NCAA Championships later this month.
