Eleanor Helm Earns IWLCA Division III Offensive Player of the Week

MEDFORD, MA (May 19, 2026) -- The Tufts University women's lacrosse team moved into the NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse semifinals this past weekend, thanks in part to the strong play from first-year Eleanor Helm as she was selected as this week's Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division III Offensive Player of the Week.

Helm totaled 16 points across two NCAA Tournament victories for Tufts. She recorded five goals and six assists in Sunday's quarterfinal win over No. 20 Williams after posting three goals and two assists against No. 13 Gettysburg in the Third Round. With her 11 points on Saturday, Helm became the single-season points record holder at Tufts, as the first-year currently sits with 97 points for the year.

She becomes the first Tufts player to be named as the IWLCA Offensive Player of the Week since Anna Clarke earned the honor back on May 24, 2022 after her performance in the same round of the NCAA Tournament four years ago.

Tufts battles No. 1 Middlebury College Friday at noon in the national semifinals.
