BOSTON, MA (May 2, 2026) – Juniors
Deirdre Flanagan and
Taylor Neldner of the Tufts University women's outdoor track & field team competed at Northeastern University's Jay Carisella / Joe Donahue Coaches Invitational at Solomon Track on Saturday.
Flanagan ran a PR of 4:44.06 in the 1500 meters to place 20th out of 60 runners in the event. Neldner was among 11 entries in the 3000-meter steeplechase and had an 11:49.85 finishing time for ninth place.
The Tufts team also competed at the New England Division III Outdoor Championships this weekend, where the Jumbos were third.
Next week the Jumbos have the New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association Championships and the F.I.R.E. Meet at Williams College on their schedule.
