Tufts' four Academic All-America® women's at-large selections are tied for the most in the nation for Division III.
This honor recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined athletic and academic achievements. To be nominated, student-athletes must have a grade point average of at least 3.50 (on a 4.0 scale) at their institution. A limit of six nominations per school is set. For field hockey and lacrosse, nominees must have competed in 90 percent of the team's total games played or have started 66 percent of the team's total games. For rowing, nominees must have competed in 90 percent of a team's competitions or compete as a member of an NCAA boat (1V8, 2V8, 1V4) at a conference or national championship.
For the Academic All-America® Women's At-Large Teams, student-athletes from the following sports are eligible - Women's Beach Volleyball, Women's Bowling, Women's Fencing, Women's Field Hockey, Women's Golf, Women's Gymnastics, Women's Ice Hockey, Women's Lacrosse, Women's Rifle, Women's Rowing, Women's Skiing, Women's Water Polo and Women's Wrestling.
Biccard was named the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division III Player of the Year after leading Tufts to the NCAA Championship last fall. She scored the game-winning goal in overtime of the NCAA Championship Game, and finished with a NESCAC-best 40 points on 17 goals and six assists. She graduated in May with magna cum laude honors and degrees in economics and international relations. Donlan was the NCAA Elite Scholar-Athlete of the Year award recipient for Division III women's lacrosse, and was an Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-American on defense for the Tufts team that advanced to the NCAA Final Four. Graduating with a perfect 4.0 grade point average, Donlan earned summa cum laude honors and a degree in cognitive brain science studies.
This is Jiang's second straight CSC Academic All-America® award. As coxswain of the women's rowing first varsity eight, Jiang steered Tufts to its third consecutive NCAA Championship in the spring and a third straight Head of the Charles collegiate eights title in the fall. A College Rowing Coaches Association first-team All-American, Jiang was a summa cum laude graduate of Tufts with a degree in cognitive brain science. Zorn was an IWLCA first team All-American for the Final Four women's lacrosse team. The team leader with 61 goals, she graduated summa cum laude with a political science degree.
With these four honorees, Tufts University Athletics now has 16 Academic All-America® recipients for the 2025-26 academic year. That marks the most in school history. The Men's At-Large Teams and the Men's and Women's Cross Country / Track & Field Teams are still to be announced.
