Before Tufts: Was on the cross country, track and field hockey teams at Mpesa Foundation Academy and Lawrence Academy...was a NEPSAC All-League selection in 2019...earned an ISL Council All-League Award in 2019...was on the team that won the Kenya Secondary Schools National Championship in men's field hockey in 2018...graduated from Lawrence Academy with honors...member of the Cum Laude Society.

Personal: Son of Kanini...has one sibling, Stephen.
