2024 (First Year): Appeared in six games for the Jumbos...Made collegiate debut in a 6-2 win over Colby...Scored in a 6-0 win against University New England...Tufts finished the season as NCAA Runners-up, NESCAC Champions and a 19-3 record

PRIOR TO TUFTS: Was a standout for the Grizzlies of Garrison Forest School...competed in field hockey and golf...was named Baltimore Sun Athlete of the Week as a junior...earned All-IAAM in 2023, while also picking up All-IAAM in golf as a junior...helped lead field hockey squad to IAAM A conference titles in 2022 and 2023...golf squad picked up a IAAM B title in 2022...High Honor Roll recipient 2020 through 2024...Sophomore class president for the 2021-22 year...Jenkins Fellow in 2023...Scholar-Athlete Award in 2024...picked up NFHCA High School Scholar of Distinction in 2024...also played for Warhawks Field Hockey Club. 

PERSONAL: Parents Wayne and Shannon Schmidt...has one sister, Lyla...chose Tufts "because of the sense of community and supportive team culture. As soon as I met the team, I knew that I had found the people that I would love to spend the next four years with. Tufts provides an ideal balance of both strong academics and competitive athletics."
