Biography

2018-19 (Junior): Sawden appeared in 22 games and started 10 contests as a junior...scored three goals and dished out three assists on the season...netted a goal and dished out an assist in the Jumbos 6-2 win over Williams on November 30...also scored goals against Middlebury and Bowdoin...picked up assists in games versus Babson and Bowdoin...attempted 23 shots in his junior campaign and had a season-high four against Bowdoin.

2017-18 (Sophomore): He played in 23 games for Tufts in his sophomore season...he scored three points during the season, raising his total to eight career collegiate points...scored points in back-to-back games in November...earned Academic All-NESCAC honors.

2016-17 (Freshman): Appeared in 24 games as a freshman for the Jumbos collecting seven points, five goals and two assists...he scored his first career goal in a 4-1 victory over Brockport on November 25. 

Before Tufts: Was on the hockey and lacrosse teams at Lyme-Old Lyme High School.

Personal: Son of Mark and Lindsay...has two siblings, Tait (16) and Callum (21)...brother, Callum, plays baseball at Clark.
