Biography

2020 (Junior): On Inside Lacrosse Maverik Men's DIII Media All-American list...Started all four games during season shortened by COVID-19...Caused eight turnovers and finished top 10 in NESCAC with 2.0 caused turnovers per game...Part of defensive group that shut out Springfield in first half on March 3...Scored first-career goal against Colby and had an assist versus Amherst...Caused four turnovers in Springfield game...Season-high three ground balls against Springfield.

2019 (Sophomore): McTernan appeared in nine games as a sophomore...was a member of the 2019 Jumbo team that posted a 19-2 overall record, won the NESCAC Championship and appeared in the NCAA Quarterfinals...scooped up eight ground balls and collected three in NCAA Tournament wins over New England College and Stevenson.

2018 (Freshman): Member of the Jumbo team that finished with an 18-2 record, won the NESCAC Championship and advanced to the NCAA Quarterfinals...appeared in nine games...caused two turnovers in season-opening win versus Hamilton...collected three ground balls against Merchant Marine in the NCAA Second Round.

Before Tufts: Was on the lacrosse team at Summit High School.
