NESCAC All-Academic: Fall 2019

2018 (Freshman): Hempstead began his career by competing in the Pineland XC Shootout, placing 17th overall...he followed that performance up by posting a 28:04.7 mark at the Purple Valley Classic...in the Connecticut College Invitational, the freshman finished with a time of 27:14.4.

Before Tufts: Was on the cross country and track teams at Northampton High School...was the 5K in 16:04 and the two mile in 9:51. 

Personal: Son of Michael and Maria...has one sibling, Emma (23).
