Biography

2023 (Senior): Pitcher for the Tufts University baseball team...Made 10 appearances earning a 2.35 ERA in 7.2 innings pitched...Struck out 7 and allowed 4 runs...Relieved 1 inning allowing no hits and striking out 1 against Pomona-Pitzer (March 19)...Threw 1 inning facing La Verne punching out 2 with no runs scored...Pitched 1 inning and striking out 2 batters against Endicott College (May 3)...Tufts finished 31-11 on the season, earning the 2023 NESCAC title and advancing to the NCAA Tournament. 

2022 (Junior): Earned 2022 NESCAC All-Academic team recognition...Appeared in six games...Struck out seven batters and didn't walk anyone in 9.1 innings...Pitched in season high 4.1 innings giving up only one hit and striking out one in win vs Trinity.

2021 (Sophomore): Appeared in one game for the Jumbos in 2021.

2020 (Freshman): Season cancelled due to COVID-19.

Before Tufts: Was on the baseball, hockey, football and basketball teams at Walpole High School...was a two-time Bay State Conference All-Star...was a three-time Legion All-Star for Post 104.

Personal: Son of Paula and Dawn...has two siblings, Michaela (23) and Cole (18)....family members Ted Donato and Ryan Donato both played in the NHL.
