Former Jumbo Corey Burns returns to the Tufts coaching staff as special teams coordinator and defensive line coach. He was previously assistant defensive line coach for a year.

Burns started at defensive end for all four years at Tufts and was a Jumbo co-captain as a senior in 2015. A community service leader on the team, Burns had 10.5 tackles for losses during his career. A 2016 graduate, he is currently studying in the Master’s in Public Health program at the Tufts University School of Medicine. Burns hails from Whitman, Massachusetts.

Coach Burns also spent a year as a graduate assistant and D-Line coach at Springfield College.
