2019 (Junior): Team's co-captain as a junior...led the Jumbos and was 12th in the league with 393 yards on the ground...led the team with three rushing touchdowns...ran for 101 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries against Colby (6.3 yards per rush)...his 36-yard run opened the scoring in a victory at Bates...13 carries for 63 yards (4.8 avg.) against the Bobcats...also had a TD run at Bowdoin...surpassed 1,000 career rushing yards in 2019...also caught 16 passes for 91 yards and a touchdown (from 12 yards out in win over Trinity)... Won team's "Effort. Attitude. Toughness." Award for embodying these three core pillars of Tufts Football.
2018 (Sophomore): Assumed a large share of running back duties in all nine games for the Jumbos… rushed 87 times on the season for 424 yards, resulting in a team-high 4.9 yards-per-carry for those who had more than one rush… his 424 rushing yards ranked fourth in the conference… had a season-long run of 38 yards, which he accomplished twice… rushed for 85 yards in a win at Middlebury while he caught four passes for 34 yards… scored his first touchdown of the season in win over Bates… followed up with 52 yards and two touchdowns on the ground in the following 28-0 win over Bowdoin… his 21 receptions ranked fourth on the team and second among running backs.
2017 (Freshman): Made a major impact in freshman season, leading the Jumbos with eight rushing touchdowns…his eight scores on the ground were third in NESCAC…the 48 points scored tied for both first on the team and seventh in the league…was 11th in the conference with 397 yards rushing…averaged 4.3 yards on 93 carries to rank eighth in the league…busted out for 135 yards and three touchdowns on 31 rushes at Colby…then scored twice the next week against Middlebury…seven rushes for 55 yards (7.9 avg) and first-career touchdown against Bowdoin…had 14 carries gaining 70 yards and a 14-yard TD against Trinity…scored the go-ahead touchdown at Williams…played a role in the pass game as well with 14 catches for 75 yards…gained 472 all-purpose yards, third on the team.
Before Tufts: Was on the football and lacrosse teams at Melrose High School...was a two-time Middlesex League MVP selection...named a two-time Boston Herald and Boston Globe All-Scholastic player...was a First Team All-State selection his senior year...was a captain of the football team...winner of the Massachusetts Scholar-Athlete Award...was a captain of the lacrosse team...was a three-time Middlesex League All-Star for lacrosse...named the 2017 Sportsman of the Year for lacrosse...was a 2017 Academic All-American for lacrosse...member of the National Honor Society...winner of the Presidential Award, the Melrose Leadership Award, the Middlesex SILS Award....graduated with honors.
Personal: Son of Liz and Rick...has three siblings, Lauren (21), Diane (13) and Matthew (9)....father played football at Norwich University.
