PRIOR TO TUFTS: Attended Pace Academy in Atlanta, Ga., where he competed in baseball and was also a member of the Atlanta Allstars. He was a senior-year captain of the Pace basketball team and helped lead the Knights to state runner-up finishes during his junior and senior seasons. Agolli recorded a career-high 22 points during his senior season against a rival. Academically, he was named an Academic All-American as a senior and received the Horowitz Athletics Leadership Award from the school’s headmaster as a junior, as well as the Margrey Russel Wilmost Award as a senior, recognizing him as a model student-athlete.

PERSONAL: The son of Artan and Ogerta Agolli, Jake has two sisters, Grace and Ada Jane...Both of his parents competed for the Albanian national team, with his father, Artan, competing at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona...Both of his sisters are also collegiate volleyball players, competing at Brown University and the University of California, Berkeley...Agolli chose Tufts "because of the new culture Coach Linton has instilled in the program, as well as the strong student-teacher connection he heard about countless times during his visit."
