Colin Kirst

Colin Kirst joined the Tufts University coaching staff for his first season in the spring of 2023. 

Kirst comes to Tufts after enjoying a fantastic career as the starting goalkeeper for the Scarlet Knights of Rutgers University. A multiple-time All-American, Kirst was named as an All-Big Ten First Team honoree twice while earning a spot on the Tewaaraton Award Watch List in 2022. 

Kirst was drafted by the Premier Lacrosse League's Boston Cannons in the third round of the 2022 draft, after having one of the best goalkeeping season in Division I as a senior. Prior to his time at Rutgers, he was a letter winner for Lehigh University for four years. 

Kirst was a US Lacrosse All-American in high school at Seton Hall Prep. Lacrosse runs in his family, as his father Kyle was a goalkeeper at Rutgers in the late '80s and his brother Connor as plays at Rutgers. Another brother, CJ, plays lacrosse at Cornell.
