Biography

2017-2018 (Sophomore): Niemiec appeared in 13 matches for the Jumbos...he won four singles matches including wins over Connecticut College 6-3, 6-1 in number four singles and 6-4, 6-0 in number two play against RPI...Niemiec came played twice for the Jumbos against Babson and recorded two victories, one in singles 6-3, 6-0 and the other in doubles 8-2...The sophomore ended the year with an 8-5 win in number two doubles against Colby.

2016-2017 (Freshman): He won his first career match in the ITA Invitational...Niemiec appeared in 15 matches for the Jumbos...The freshman registered eight singles wins including wins over Trinity 6-4, 6-4 in number two singles, a 6-2, 6-2 number five win against Middlebury, and a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Bates in number four singles...he also appeared twice for the Jumbos in five matches including one against Coast Guard in singles and doubles.

Before Tufts: Attended Scottsdale Online Learning...represented the USTA Southwest section in the 2010 USTA 12&under Zone Team Championships, 2013 USTA 16's Zone Team Championships and 2014 and 2015 USTA Boys 18's National Team Championship...was a member of the National Honor Society...was the valedictorian of his graduating class.

Personal: Son of Agnes and Paul.
