Kate Barnosky

Kate Barnosky joined Coach Berube’s staff in the summer of 2013 and has been a part of a coaching staff that has won back-to-back NESCAC Championships and advanced to the Final Four four consecutive seasons.

Barnosky played for Coach Berube at Tufts, graduating in 2012 with a degree in child development.  She played her fifth year of eligibility in 2012-13 while beginning graduate school at Tufts, and earned her master’s degree in applied child development in 2014.  Barnosky was a three-year captain of the Jumbo’s team, and made the NCAA Tournament in four of her five years on the squad. She was an All-NESCAC selection and a D3hoops All-Northeast Regional selection in 2012 and 2013, years in which the Jumbos made back-to-back Sweet 16 appearances.

Off the court Barnosky was the Tufts SAAC president and a four-year F.I.T. Peer Leader.  She received the W. Murray Kenney award for positive attitude and persistence during her time as a Jumbo. 

Barnosky is a native of Huntington Station, N.Y.
