MIDDLEBURY, VT – Second seed Williams College advanced to the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Women's Tennis Championship Match after a 5-0 win over third-seed Tufts at Middlebury College on Saturday afternoon.

The Ephs (16-3) will take on Amherst (16-1) in the title match set for 1:00 pm on Sunday afternoon. The Jumbos (14-5) expect to earn an at-large berth into the upcoming NCAA Tournament next week.

The Ephs took all three doubles matches, dropping just eight games. In singles play, Lucy Marchese was a 6-0, 6-3 winner over Tufts first year Shelci Bowman (Dallas, TX) at #3 to give Williams a 4-0 advantage.
