WALTHAM - In their final dual match of the fall season, the Tufts women's tennis team earned an impressive 8-1 victory at Brandeis on Friday afternoon.
The match between the #17 Jumbos and the #24 Judges saw the visitors surge to a 3-0 lead in doubles. The #2 pair of senior captain Samantha Gann (Massapequa, NY) and first-year Chelsea Hayashi (San Anselmo, CA) posted an easy 8-2 win. The first-year duo of Jacqueline Baum (Highland Park, IL) and Conner Calabro (Sherman Oaks, CA) had to work hardest for the Jumbos, defeating Brandeis' Robert Bergstein and Sarita Biswas 8-5 at #3.
