When Casey File secured the next draw for Hamilton, they again looked to stall but turned the ball over when moving it back into their defensive half. Bowser caused the turnover and picked up the ground ball. Moments later, her pass led to Ross' goal at 1:06 for a 13-12 margin. Freshman Hedy Veith controlled the draw for Tufts and with under a minute remaining Bowser's shot sailed just wide. Tufts turned the ball over after that and Hamilton ran out out the clock.
