Women's Sailing Finish 17th at Yale Inter-sectional Regatta

BRANFORD, Conn. – The Tufts University women's sailing team posted a 17th-place finish at the Yale Inter-sectional Regatta over the weekend.

A total of 13 races were sailed in A and B divisions out of the historic Yale Corinthian Yacht Club. The Jumbos totaled 188 in A division and 143 in B's for a 331 final score. They were 17 behind 16th-place Navy (314).

Host Yale won the regatta scoring 36 in A's and 118 in B's for a 154 final.

Freshman Annika Fedde skippered in A division with junior Juliana Testa as crew for Tufts. They had a top finish of ninth in the fourth race and were 17th in the division.

Senior skipper Charlotte Lenz and freshman crew Cecelia Adams were the Tufts tandem in B's. They were 14th in the division and had a best finish of second in the third race, while also placing third in the 13th and final start.
