ST. PETERSBURG, FL (May 15, 2026) – The Tufts University women's sailing team had a good first day at the Intercollegiate Sailing Association (ICSA) Fleet Race Championship Eastern Semifinals today. The Jumbos are sixth out of 18 teams after one day of action.
Six races were held in A and B divisions as the Fleet Race Nationals got started on Tampa Bay. Tufts had finishes totaling to 46 in A's and 36's in B's for an 82 team score.
The top nine teams from the Eastern and Western Semifinals will advance to the ICSA Women's Fleet Race Championship finals, which run Sunday and Monday (May 17-18). As the sixth-place team, Tufts is 35 points in front of ninth-place Old Dominion (117) entering the second day of the regatta.

Eloise Goedkoop are fifth in their division after the six races. They earned all top 10 scores, including three in the top five. Their third-place in today's fifth race was their best.

Lilly Ladd as crew. They had a pair of fifth-place finishes in the second and fourth races today.
Stanford University leads the Eastern Semifinal regatta with a 16-17-33 scoring line.
The second day of racing on Saturday has a first warning of 9:30 AM.
