BRUNSWICK, ME - The Tufts University women's tennis team competed in singles and doubles matches at the Bowdoin Invitational on Saturday as the Jumbo conclude their 2022 fall season there this weekend.
In double matches, Tufts won four times.
Michelle Shub was part of two. She combined with
Rebecca Lim to defeat Maya Lal and Chanhtel Thongphok from Skidmore 8-4. Shub also teamed with
Nikki Kintiroglou to win against Skidmore's Ella Provost and Katherine Almquist 8-2. Maddie Suk and Â
Rachel Cranley earned an 8-5 victory over Provost and Grace Truong from Skidmore. The Jumbo pair of

Steffy Jullian added an 8-6 final over Almquist and Katelyn Corpuz from Skidmore.
In singles, Jumbos Shub, Cranley and
Lucy Mitchell had wins over Middlebury players. Shub went extra for a 6-4, 2-6, 17-15 win over Amanda Frank, Cranley defeated Anna Lardner 6-4, 6-0, and Mitchell topped Charlotte McCann 6-3, 6-4. Jullian had an 8-2 win against Skidmore's Corpuz, while Kintiorglu also won over Corpuz 6-1, 6-0.
More matches will be played  tomorrow at Bowdoin.
