Sophie Wax of the Tufts University women's tennis team played into the semifinals of the MIT Invitational before losing today.
Wax won her quarterfinal match against first-year Tufts teammate
Rachel Cranley 6-4, 4-6, 10-3. Wax then faced Sophie Diop from Amherst in the semifinals and lost 6-1, 6-1.

Madeline Suk and
Lucy Mitchell lost quarterfinal matches in the singles bracket on Saturday.
In doubles, the Tufts first-year tandem of Cranley and Mitchell will play in the consolation final tomorrow against Jumbo teammates
Michelle Shub and
Steffy Jullian.
