AMHERST, MA (February 11, 2024) - The Tufts University women's squash team is heading to their third straight NESCAC tournament final with an 8-1 win over Middlebury on Sunday morning at the Davenport Squash Courts on the campus of Amherst College.

Vharsha Dinesh faced off against Lindsey Burnham. Dinesh was able to win in four sets 11-8, 10-12, 11-7, 11-6. At the No. 2 spot, freshman Maria Arseniev bested Sabrina Schwarz in four games 11-4, 5-11, 11-5, 11-8. At the No. 3 spot, junior
Riddhi Joshi was able to defeat Isabella Ronda in straight sets 11-6, 11-9, 11-7.Â
At the No. 4 spot, senior
Caroline Chin bested Abby Holding in four sets 12-10, 7-11, 11-4, 11-8. At the No. 5 spot, junior
Aleezah Burhan needed five sets to defeat Margaux Comai 11-9, 6-11, 8-11, 11-7, 11-3. At the No. 6 spot, junior
Nieve Monderer bested Eva Finney in four sets 8-11, 12-10, 11-6, 11-1. Monderer and Joshi both completed their matches in 26 minutes which was the quickest of the day for the Jumbos.

Sanjana Vissapragada bested Maya Bardorf in four sets 8-11, 11-7, 13-11, 11-8. At the No. 8 spot, senior
Ellyn Xu was able to best Mariana Reedich in four sets 11-4, 11-8, 6-11, 11-4. At the No. 9 spot, freshman
Chloe Bergam was defeated in straight sets by Madeline Schwarz 7-11, 8-11, 5-11.
The Jumbos women's squash team will now compete in the NESCAC finals against No. 1 seed Trinity College at 4 pm today.
