PHILADELPHIA (March 9, 2024) -- The Tufts University women's squash team saw its season extended one last day, as sophomore No. 1
Vharsha Dinesh advanced to the College Squash Association National Collegiate Individual Championships Hollaran East Division Consolation Final on Sunday with a victory in her lone match Saturday.
Dinesh took on Sophia Koehler of Williams College in the semifinal round Saturday afternoon, and for the second time Dinesh topped Koehler the season with scores of 11-6, 11-8 and 12-10. Dinesh earned her way to the semifinals after a Friday win over Williams College's Rhea Pandit, and will now play Laila Selim of William Smith College Sunday at 9:30 a.m. inside Arlen Spector Squash Center.
Selim and Dinesh did not play each other this season when Tufts picked up an 8-1 win over the Herons on November 18.
