CAMBRIDGE, MA (October 12, 2025) – A solid Sunday performance lifted the Tufts University women's sailing team to a ninth-place finish at the Atlantic Coast Championship (ACC) finals, which was completed today on the Charles River.
Tufts had been in 13th place after six races in A and B divisions on Saturday. Conditions allowed for eight more races in both groups on Sunday for a weekend total of 14. Tufts' overall scores of 77 in A's and 54 in B's were a 131 total for ninth place out of the 18 teams.

Eloise Goedkoop. They were outstanding with seven top 10 finishes in their eight races, including winning the second-to-last start. Tufts was eighth in A division for the weekend.

Maddie Janzen skippered Tufts in all eight B races on Sunday, with sophomore
Amelia Traver and senior
Lilly Ladd evenly splitting the crew role with four races each. Janzen and Traver were fourth in Sunday's fourth race for the team's best B division showing of the day. The Jumbos finished 11th for B's overall.
Stanford University won the ACC title with scores of 69 in A's and 67 in B's for a 136 total.
