HARTFORD, CT (November 16, 2025) – Trinity College, the #5 team in the College Squash Association poll, earned a 9-0 victory over #13 Tufts University in a NESCAC women's squash match on Sunday.
The Jumbos played quite competitively in most matches despite the shutout loss.
Anika Goyal, who clinched yesterday's Tufts win over Columbia, won her second game against Trinity's Doyce Ye San Lee today and played well in an 11-6, 6-11, 11-6, 11-7 loss.
Four Jumbo players overall won games in their matches. In the sixth contest,
Sejal Virk won her second game to even the match at 1-1 before falling 11-5, 6-11, 11-3, 11-6. In the eighth match,
Indira Moshi had a 1-0 lead before she was defeated 9-11, 11-3, 11-6, 11-2.
Ella Hill staved off defeat in the #3 match with a victory in her third game before losing 11-4, 11-4, 7-11, 11-3.
Other Jumbos played competitively in their three-game losses. Tufts #1
Vharsha Dinesh scored 19 points in her match, while
Maria Arseniev also had 19-point total during a defeat in the second match.
Seventh player
Anika Parr tallied 18 points in her match, as did
Mafi Pinot in the ninth match.
Tufts plays next on Friday at Hamilton College for a conference match.
